The pizza is always delicious and tastes so much fresher than the big chain pizza places.

My husband loves the New Yorker, I'm more simple with a pepperoni. Either way we go with the pizza we always get a salad to share too! So fresh and great sharing portion!

Unfortunately I am not super thrilled on my first visit. Good pizza selection but that was not the issue. Out of the nine flavors of buffalo wings listed only two are available. And of all the dipping sauces available which I think were four or six only two were available. Pizza was made incorrectly so now I have to wait for a second pizza to be made correctly. Appears only have half the 2 L soda selection available.  Your choice is Pepsi diet Pepsi or grape crush.   A Friday evening at 6 o'clock and you're unable to fulfill your entire menu. What are you going to do? It's memorial weekend.  Not sure if this is posted already or not but I thought I would go back and edit it. I originally gave it  two stars but decided to give it three. They did try to make up for some of their mistakes by giving us an additional free salad and a 2 L of soda.
Sad to say however that the buffalo wings are slightly on the dry side and the pizza is under cooked.

Ya know, for the longest time we would constantly pass by their truck on the side of that round-about on Pebble Hills. I started to wonder if they literally sold pizzas out the back of that thing. It wasn't until later that we learned Great American Pizza Factory recently opened its store on Zaragoza. Which is convenient because they're less than a mile from my house and offer delivery.

But this is the kind of place you order from if you want Little Caesar's and don't feel like leaving your house. Because while the prices for both are similar, Little Caesar's is still a little bit better; at least...as far as their pizza goes anyway. So how does The Great American hold up?

The main part of the pizza tastes fine. Unfortunately, their crust tastes like cardboard. I literally could have put tomato sauce on the box and it would have tasted about the same. It's really confusing because I can tell their pizza tastes fresh. Just try to imagine eating fresh mozzarella, pepperoni and tomato sauce...straight off a piece of the pizza box. LC's crust isn't much better either, but at least it's edible.

The sauce for the wings was really good. The wings themselves, however, tasted like they could have spent a tad less time in the oven. They were a slightly dry and tasted a bit like woodchips, but luckily the buffalo sauce combined with the bleu cheese made the experience a delectable one. It was almost magical.

So in summation, if you avoid eating the crust of the pizza and douse the wings in bleu cheese or whatever your choice of dip happens to be, then it's all just...A-OK. Besides, the stuff is made fresh, so at least they've got that going for them. Like I said, if you don't feel like driving to an LC's, you can always order delivery from The Great American. I'll give 'em 3 woodchip infused chicken wings doused with buffalo sauce and bleu cheese out of 5.

I would first like to say that this place is family owned. I love family owned places !
I love the pizza ! I love the deals ! I get a text message once a week informing me of the weekly special. Family feasts, game day packs etc. The value is great !

Haven't been to great American since the 90s!   I ordered the el pasoan and it's pretty good !  It has a good flavor. The sauce and cheese make it.  It was ready quick and very inexpensive.   The crust however did not have flavor, I think a buttery garlic flavor would compliment the pizza. Too bad they don't deliver.
